Horton Point Lighthouse is open seasonally from Memorial Day weekend through mid-September. Visitors can explore the tower and the Nautical Museum located in the keeper’s residence. The museum features a fourth-order Fresnel lens, various brass instruments, and artifacts from Long Island’s maritime past. Admission to the lighthouse and museum is $5 per person or $10 per family (cash only). This fee also includes access to the Maple Lane Complex in Southold, making it a great value for history enthusiasts.
